Welcome to First Baptist Church Penticton.
We are delighted you have found your way to our web site.
Our hope and prayer is that as you look through the pages
you'll discover that we're a church seeking to honour Jesus
Christ as Lord in our fellowship, friendship, worship and
witness. This is a momentous year for us as we celebrate
100 years of God's faithfulness at First Baptist.
Yes, we began in mid-July 1907. We have much to be
thankful for over the past 100 years. But we also
look forward to all that the Lord will do in the coming years. |
One of the most exciting new ministries we are developing is our Ark Youth Centre.
This is going to be a great opportunity to connect with young people as
we run a youth drop-in centre for High School students and an after school club
for elementary students. |
We're also looking to do a special program for Middle School students too.
With the Lord's leading and provision we are excited at this new ministry
opportunity. But this is only one of the opportunities at First Baptist to encounter
Jesus Christ and the power of the Gospel. Look out for our Sunday service
ministry, our home Bible study groups, our youth ministry and children's work,
our Alpha courses for those interested in finding out more about Jesus and how
He can change our lives, our seniors' ministries, and our active interest in God's
work throughout the world. And this is just a beginning! |
